 August Communications Consulting, based in Austin, Texas, was founded in 2006 by Chris Dittus, with the simple objective of providing cost effective, outsourced Human Resource services and solutions to businesses, groups and individuals without compromising quality results. Chris is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and has more than 15 years of experience as an advisor, coach, business partner and facilitator. The extensive knowledge and skills developed through her exposure and work in diverse organizations, including non-profits, start-ups and fortune 100 companies, are the foundation for August Communications Consulting and its range of services. Over the years, Chris has held a variety of senior leadership, consulting and corporate roles for such organizations as Apple, Inc., CyberTrader and Charles Schwab & Co. Her expert opinion and commentary in the areas of human resources, organizational development, staffing and career planning have been featured in articles published on About.com and SHRM Online. Chris Dittus graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication. She is a Development Dimensions International (DDI) certified Trainer, a professional member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) and International Association of Coaching (IAC).
